Weight Management & Metabolic Health for Women in Idaho & Montana

Many women notice changes in weight, energy, and metabolism as they move through different stages of life — especially during their 30s, 40s, and 50s. Stress, sleep, hormones, and daily demands can all play a role, and these changes are not your fault.

At Illumination Women’s Health, we offer a compassionate, evidence-informed, self-pay metabolic health program designed specifically for women. Our goal is to help you feel better in your body, support your energy, improve metabolic wellness, and create a plan that aligns with your goals and lifestyle.

This service can be provided fully through telehealth or in-office for women across Idaho and Montana, with optional in-office tools available for those who choose to use them.

A Supportive, Personalized Approach to Women’s Metabolism

Women’s metabolic health is shaped by many factors — hormones, stress levels, sleep quality, emotional wellbeing, and daily routines. We take a whole-person perspective, not a weight- or number-focused approach.

Your personalized plan may include:

  • Review of your goals, symptoms, and health history

  • Evaluation of metabolic patterns and wellness indicators

  • Discussion of lifestyle factors and sustainable habits

  • Education about midlife metabolic changes

  • Consideration of compounded therapies when clinically appropriate

  • Optional in-person InBody 580 body composition analysis

  • Ongoing telehealth follow-up and support

This is a non-judgmental, supportive environment focused on helping you feel better, not meeting an idealized standard.

Compounded Wellness & Metabolic Support Options

For some women, compounded therapies may be an appropriate part of metabolic support. We approach these tools thoughtfully and safely.

We offer:

  • Assessment of whether compounded options may be suitable

  • Review of risks, benefits, and expectations

  • Partnership with reputable compounding pharmacies

  • Regular follow-up and dosage adjustments as needed

We avoid one-size-fits-all approaches — your care plan is always individualized.

InBody 580 Body Composition Analysis (Optional In-Office Tool)

For women who want a deeper understanding of their metabolic profile, we offer optional InBody 580 body composition analysis at our Boise clinic.

This advanced tool provides:

  • Muscle mass distribution

  • Body fat percentage

  • Visceral fat estimation

  • Segmental muscle analysis

  • Basal metabolic rate insights

  • Fluid and inflammation indicators

While not required for participating in metabolic health services, many women find this information helpful for tracking progress or tailoring their personalized plan.

Metabolic Health Through Midlife

Many women experience metabolic shifts in midlife as hormones change. This can impact:

  • Appetite and cravings

  • Weight distribution

  • Energy levels

  • Muscle mass

  • Sleep and mood

  • Insulin sensitivity

  • Motivation and recovery

We help identify contributing factors and create a plan that supports your goals. When appropriate, we may also discuss how menopause hormone therapy (MHT) could complement your metabolic health.

Whole-Woman Support for Emotional & Mental Health

Your emotional health and metabolic health are deeply interconnected.

If you’re experiencing stress, overwhelm, emotional eating patterns, or ADHD-related challenges that affect routines or motivation, our integrated Women’s Mental Health services can provide additional support.

Our collaborative model considers:

  • Emotional patterns

  • Executive functioning challenges

  • Sleep and stress levels

  • Hormonal influences

  • Lifestyle demands

You deserve care that understands your whole experience.

What to Expect From Your Visit

Your entire metabolic health experience can take place through telehealth, from the first consultation to ongoing support.

During your initial appointment, we will:

  • Discuss your goals, symptoms, and concerns

  • Explore whether compounded therapies may be appropriate

  • Consider whether an in-person InBody 580 scan would support your goals

  • Establish a personalized, practical care plan

  • Outline next steps and follow-up

A physical exam or in-office visit is not required to begin or continue this program.

If labs are appropriate, we can order them or you may complete them through your primary care provider or a local laboratory — but labs are not typically needed for most women using this service.
